I work in the Quality Control Lab at Evergreen’s Riverside, California plant. I’m originally from Guadalajara in Jalisco Mexico and now live in Chino, California, with my family.
I earned a degree in assistant business administration in Mexico. I came upon the opportunity to work in plastics recycling by chance after having worked in paralegal services.
What I like most about my job is working alongside a great team of coworkers with diverse backgrounds. It’s also rewarding to contribute to the process of converting what most people consider trash into a reusable product.

My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic and that motivates me to do my best. Recycling is a male-dominated field but it’s important for women to be involved because we all have a responsibility to manage resources and protect the environment.
In my free time, I like to go shopping, take nice vacations, catch a movie, and spend quality time with my family.
Evergreen’s Women in Recycling Series is designed to celebrate our fabulous team members from across our company.
